About the Author
KENNY CURTIS has more than 30 years in children's programming as a performer, writer, and producer. He is one of the creators of National Geographic Kids' Greeking Out podcast series, which he hosts and cowrites alongside his daughter, Jillian Hughes. Together, Kenny and Jillian have helped develop a number of well-known kids' content offerings for partners and platforms like Pinna, Tinkercast, Kidz Bop, and 8 Pound Gorilla Records. But Kenny may be best known as the human behind the long-running radio program The Animal Farm on SiriusXM's original family music channel, Kids Place Live. JILLIAN HUGHES is a professional writer with her heart in the kids and family industry. She's a writer for National Geographic Kids' Greeking Out podcast series and has contributed to other platforms including Pinna, Tinkercast, and iHeart. She also works as a copywriter crafting marketing collateral for numerous industries. While she enjoys working with all her clients, she is especially partial to collaborating with Kenny--who just happens to be her dad. JAVIER ESPILA is a Spanish illustrator who has been devouring cartoons ever since he was old enough to sit upright in front of the TV. This had the unfortunate consequence of causing serious inflammation of the brain, rendering him unsuitable for any job that required him to lift anything heavier than a pencil. In recent years, his condition has deteriorated, and he is now forced to write absurd and fantastic stories to alleviate the constant pressure on his skull. He lives with his wife and two daughters, who help him by alternating cartoons with video games.

beautiful draping and forgiving

A beautiful dress. Well made. Fully lined. I don't know what they mean by front slit. There's no slit unless they meant there's a waist line. Fitted but true to size. There's a side zipper that helps get in and out of the dress. There's also a corset in the back that pulls any slack. I'm 5'5" and weigh 185 lbs. It's ankle length. The Drop makes good dresses. I bought the Crimson too and it's a beautiful red that makes everyone turn and gaze. There's another dress the Drop makes which is polka dot and same version in ivory. Beautiful draping and forgiving. I found these dresses when viewed at emanuela.moss@tiktok.

Cute dress, just not for me.

5’4”, size 6/8. I bought a medium.
The Good — the color is accurate, and the pattern is pretty in person. It’s fully lined, and The material doesn’t feel cheap.
The Bad — the fit was just odd. I’m a 6/8 and reliably a medium, but the fit was so weird on me, that I’m not even sure what the problem was. I don’t know how a bust can be both too big and too small, but that’s what I felt like here! The length was also not good for me, but is accurate to the picture. I’m 5’4” and it hit right above the ankle bone.
TLDR; the dress is nice, but the fit is bad on me.

Lovely dress. Good quality but squashes my boobs
Size: Small, Color: Navy Polka Dot
Size chart is accurate but if you have a large bust consider sizing up, the bust area doesn’t have much room so expect lots of cleavage if you have a large chest. It kind of squashed my boobs and doesn’t provide the best support. This is best for smaller chests.
The quality is nice and it washes well. This can be worn with flats on a casual day or dresses up with some heels. This dress is lined and not see through.
